Tin Coated Steel Foil Tape is a heat-resistant welding backing tape designed to support high-quality welds while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. This specialized tape features an adhesive-free center strip that prevents adhesive from contaminating the weld joint—ideal for applications requiring precision and cleanliness.
With a high-temperature resistance up to 500°F, it’s suitable for use on aluminum and stainless steel during purge welding operations. The tape seals the root gap to retain purge gas and reduce oxidation on the backside of the weld.
